About this space
This secure family home is just a few metres away from the beach. Which is easily accessible with the walkway. It has a private gate to the beach.
The balcony is raised which makes for fantastic sea views; perfect for those afternoon braai's with the family.
Thompson's Beach is ideal for surfing, fishing off the rock cliffs, diving/spear fishing in the nearby bays and walks on the beach that offers beautiful scenery.

The space
This is apartment is situated right on the beach giving guests ease of access to the beach as well as spectacular views.

Thompson's Bay, on the Dolphin Coast
The apartment sits at Thompson's Bay in Salt Rock, on the KwaZulu-Natal North Coast — the stretch most people know as the Dolphin Coast. Ballito is a few minutes down the road for restaurants, the Lifestyle Centre and Junction malls, and King Shaka International Airport is roughly forty minutes away.
Thompson's Bay itself is one of the gentler beaches on this coastline. There's a tidal pool, lifeguards in season, good surf on the points and rock cliffs to fish off. Umhlali, Sheffield Beach, Zimbali and Umdloti are all short drives if you want to move around.
It suits a family holiday, a group of friends splitting the cost, or a long working stretch somewhere better than home. The unit is self-catering, so you cook and come and go as you please.

Where exactly is the apartment?
Thompson's Bay, Salt Rock, on the KwaZulu-Natal Dolphin Coast — a few minutes north of Ballito and about forty minutes from King Shaka International Airport.
How many people does it sleep?
Up to eight guests across four bedrooms. Three bedrooms have sea views and three are en-suite; the fourth bathroom doubles as the guest loo.
How far is the beach?
A few metres. The complex has its own walkway and a private gate straight onto the beach.
What does it cost?
R6 500 a night in low season, R7 000 in shoulder, R9 500 in peak, for the whole apartment. Minimum three nights, or seven in peak season.
Is it self-catering?
Yes. Full kitchen with a gas and electric range, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer and an ice machine. Mid-stay cleaning is available on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays at R300 a service.
